It was always nice to go on a trip, but to go on an academic trip
is the best. You get to learn, while travelling. You make memories
from places filled with it. I can say that a trip like this is
learning with fun.

Athens is the capital of the beautiful country Greece.
This city is filled with history of the Greek Mythology, that is why
the call it Magical City.

THE BEST TIME TO VISIT

Mid-September or when Autumn comes, is the best time to visit Athens.
The temperature begins to cool from the summer but it is still warm
enough to go on trips and eat outdoors. It would be cold at night 
so, I think it would be nice to stay indoors and
relax.  

TRANSPORTATION

For the transportation from Manila to Athens, you will have
to ride an airplane. Flight time from Manila to
Athens is 16 hours and 20 minutes.

ACCOMMODATION

Athens is a tourist spot for sure, there are hotels scattered in the
said place that is close to landmarks and stores.

FOOD

Greece is a country of cheese and wine, but there are
delicacies that you must try. Gyro is a sandwich like
roasted meat dish. Pastitsio, is for those baked pasta lovers.

THINGS TO BRING

To survive there you must bring proper clothes, money.
passport and courage.

OTHER INFORMATION YOU MAY NEED

Greek is their official language.

Intramuros is one of the most historic places in the Philippines.
When you step in here it will feel like you go back in time. There
are universities, churches, museums and special places in here. it is perfect
for Academic Trips.

THE BEST TIME TO VISIT

They say, Sunday, late afternoon is the best time to visit. There
would be less students, and it would not be hot while
roaming around.

TRANSPORTATION

You can get there by riding a jeepney or the LRT.

ACCOMMODATION

There are hotels inside Intramuros, but I think you can roam 
around within a day or half.

FOOD

Filipino delicacies of course.

THINGS TO BRING

You might want to bring an umbrella, in case it rains or for a shade
while walking. 

OTHER INFORMATION YOU MAY NEED

If you ever get lost, never be afraid to ask the guards.
They are very approachable and reliable.

TOTAL BUDGET

Since the museums and other places have entrance fees, 
300- 500 pesos per person would be enough.

It can be used to unite people, but when misused it can cause a lot of trouble.
